| This is my first project, almost completely rebuilt (except the gearbox.) I like to call it an MPC (multi-purpose carbine,) since It's wearing a standard M4 barrel instead of a CQB. The CQB barrel definately looks snazzier, but since I'll be playing woodland mostly, I didn't wanna cut it down too short. Internals are stock Echo 1, except the hopup (which is G&P, with the Echo 1 gears and rubber.) Parts list- King Arms CASV kit King Arms Modstock G&P Noveske Metal Body Star Rear BUIS UTG Tactical Foregrip (made by Guarder) Matrix Taclight w/ Pressure Switch and Weaver Mount On the way- G&P Aimpoint Replica w/ Low L Mount 9.6v 2000mah Intallect Battery I plan to tune the internals later, as the stock FPS is pleanty for me at the moment. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.....right? Also, depending on how my frankenstein hopup unit works, I might have to pick up a Systema unit. The G&P was misfeeding horribly, but that was before i rebuilt it with the stock Echo 1 rubber and gears. I'm waiting for my battery to arrive before I test it again. Sorry for the craptacular pics, I'll have some nicer ones up when the rest of my kit arrives. | |

| The best Echo 1 M4 yet. But others will follow. Let us start the mpeg trend by not only improving the looks of our guns but improving the attitudes of people about them. It starts here but it certaintly won't end here. Thank you gilla for leading the pack and giving hope for us. | |

| No problem man, glad to help!
For those wondering, all the parts I used fit the Echo 1 gearbox, motor, and pistol grip perfectly. No filing, shaving, or sanding was needed whatsoever. This just goes to show you exactly how compatable the Echo 1 armalites are with TM accessories.
Also, if anyone needs help installing parts similar to what I've used, feel free to drop me a PM, and I'll do my best to help.

| Thanks for having me!
I've been waiting patiently for the official Echo 1 forums to open, but it doesn't look like it's happening anytime soon. I'm just glad there's a forum where the Echo 1 owners can exchange experience and info on upgrading these guns (since we all know there's allways something different than a TM on most every chinese clone.)

| Now that, is a sexy weapon. The only thing I would do is keep the vertical foregrip off, since I'm not a fan of those on airsoft weapons, but hey, it's all personal preference. I love the trades, too. | |

| Actually, I have everything except the short mag right now, I've just been too lazy to do my full post... But I suppose I can do a teaser pic; I'll be posting a mini-review though... | |

| Kit costs about 200, a little less if you get it from evike, and the gun itself cost me 120. Looking at about 300 for just the kit. I also have a tightbore installed, which cost me 70 bucks shipped (decided to switch to the Prometheus). Plans for this gun include Guarder SPR metal body, reinforced v.2 gearbox shell, M140 FTK, new motor and battery, crane stock, SPR grip, metal hopup unit, and my new Leupold M3, as soon as I can get back to town and pick it up at the post office. Yes, that's right, I'm rebuilding the gun ENTIRELY out of aftermarket upgrade parts. Here's a new picture for your viewing pleasure of my current rendition, which I just skirmished with: | |

WAY too much, to be quite honest. I happened to get a good income tax return this year, so I blew close to 500 bucks on the kit alone. That's including a 10 pack of star realcaps, 9.6v nunchuck battery to fit in the CASV front set, a speedloader, sling, etc. Nowadays, you can get the DBoys CASV handguard for around 100 bucks, and all you'd need to start skirmishing is a 9.6v AA nunchuck battery to fit in it. That, and to chop your carry handle for a proper flat top BUIS. If you shop around, you could get a really nice setup for about 200 bucks, including a G&P aimpoint. Just pm me if you need links or any other info. P.S., That is a lovely rifle you got there, Crimsonfalcon. The one thing I see missing is a flip up rear sight to match the front on the flat top setup. It just seems kinda useless to have a flip up front sight with the scope mounted on the carry handle and no rear sight, I'd rather have all my sights cowitness. If you're interested, I chopped my M4 carry handle to use as a rear sight. I'd be willing to part with it if you paid for shipping. I'm definately jealous of your internals tho.

| I know, I need the rear sight. I'll be getting an upgrade one though (sorry, no interest in modded ones), plus with the scope mounted on the carry handle, I can still use the rear sight (it has a nice little hole to see through). So it's still functional that way. | |

| WOW man, that thing is amazing! It would look so much sexier though if you added a barrel extension like a suppressor.
Nice work! | |
